A 7-day residential immersion into the art of stillness and deep release

In a world that never stops moving, Yin yoga teaches you how to be still.

Most yoga styles ask you to build strength, generate heat, and move with dynamic intention. Yin yoga asks you to surrender. To stay. To breathe into discomfort without fighting it. To discover the deeper layers of the self when the restlessness finally settles.

Our 50-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training goa is a 7-day residential journey designed for yoga practitioners and teachers who wish to deepen their understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Yin Yoga. Whether you are a curious beginner taking your very first step into yoga teacher training in Goa, or an experienced practitioner seeking to deepen your knowledge or learn how to confidently guide a yin session, this course was built for you.

This training explores what Yin Yoga is truly about—maintaining and expanding flexibility and mobility, rejuvenating the body, and applying mindfulness principles to create greater peace and balance in the mind. Through the wisdom of Taoist philosophy, students learn how Yin Yoga harmonises the body, mind, and soul by working with the natural flow of Chi (Qi) through the body’s meridian pathways. As part of this yin yoga teacher training Goa, students will also gain a foundational understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and how meridians influence the energetic effects of Yin Yoga poses.

During the course, students will practice and study 35 classical Yin Yoga poses, along with additional variations and modifications suitable for different body types. You will learn the intelligent use of props, explore the 5 elements in Yin Yoga, and understand how to safely assist students in their practice. The program also covers Yin Yoga sequencing, mindfulness practices, and effective teaching methodology, helping you design balanced and meaningful Yin Yoga classes.

The training also includes essential anatomy topics that help you understand how each body responds differently in Yin practice. Students will explore Paul Grilley’s 14-10-7 paradigm, target areas of the body, and the energetic stimulation of meridians within Yin poses.

Upon successful completion of the training, students will receive an internationally recognized Yin Yoga Teacher Training certification from Yoga Alliance USA, enabling them to integrate Yin Yoga into their personal practice or professional teaching journey and expand their opportunities within the global yoga community.

Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to cover from the foundational to the experiential — beginning with the TCM theory and anatomy of Yin, and progressing toward making you confident in teaching methodology.
