This course is ideal for certified yoga teachers who want to add a powerful and in-demand specialisation to their offering, wellness professionals drawn to the therapeutic applications of sound and Yin yoga, and practitioners with a personal calling toward deep healing, energetic work, and holding space for others.
If you have completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training in Goa or elsewhere and are looking for your next step, this programme offers a genuinely rare combination of skills that sets you apart as a yoga instructor.
You will learn how to design and lead Yin yoga sessions with live sound support, understand the science of how sound frequencies affect the nervous system and emotional body, work with chakras through targeted sound healing, and develop the presence and skill to hold deeply safe and transformative healing spaces for your students.
Sound healing uses specific frequencies — produced through Tibetan bowls, and other instruments — to shift the nervous system into states of deep rest, emotional release, and cellular healing. When layered into a Yin yoga practice, where the body is already held in long, passive postures, the effect is profoundly amplified.
The stillness of Yin opens the body. Together with sound they create an experience that students describe as one of the most transformative they have ever had on the mat — making this one of the most sought-after offerings in modern yoga and wellness.
This programme is best suited for those with an existing foundation in yoga — whether through personal practice or a prior yoga teacher training in Goa or elsewhere. A background in Yin yoga or sound healing is helpful but not essential.
If you are newer to yoga but have a strong calling toward sound healing and restorative work, we encourage you to reach out to us directly. We are happy to guide you toward the right starting point.
Upon successful completion you will receive a Yoga Alliance USA accredited 100 hour certificate — internationally recognised and valid for yoga professionals worldwide.
For existing teachers, this counts as Continuing Education hours with Yoga Alliance, formally adding Yin Yoga and Sound Healing as a specialisation to your teaching credentials. It is a qualification that positions you at the forefront of the growing therapeutic yoga and sound wellness space.
